We want to assure you that we take our responsibility to protect your data seriously and that any personal data you provide to us will be treated in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Data Protection Acts 1988 - 2018.

The personal data we collect

In the course of our business operations, we may collect the following personal data:

  • Contact Details: If you make an enquiry or if you engage our design services you may provide your name, address, phone number and email address. We use this data to respond to your query or to place your order.

  • Your Kitchen Details: Details specific to your kitchen. Depending on the detail provided this may be considered personal data.

  • Technical Data: Such as your IP address, the type of browser you are using and any plug ins you may have, your PC’s zone/location and the type of device you’re visiting our website from.

  • Your preferences: How you use our website, the products you express an interest in/purchase, your feedback.

  • Competitions: Information you provide to us as part of a promotion/competition.

  • Job Application: Information contained within a CV or cover email for a job opening that is advertised through our website.

We do not process any sensitive data.

While the primary legal basis we rely on is contract (kitchen supply contract), from time to time we also rely on the following legal bases to process personal data:

  • Consent: We will not contact you directly for marketing reasons unless you have given us your explicit consent to do so. Cookies will only be applied with your consent.

  • Statutory: Some processing may be required by law e.g. Revenue reporting.

  • Legitimate interests: For instance we may analyse visitors interactions with our website to get a better understanding of their preferences.

Third Parties

From time to time we may employ the services of trusted third parties (contractors/advisors) to assist us with our business operations. Your data will only be shared with third parties with whom we have a data processor agreement in place.

How we use and store your personal data

  • We will only process personal data that has been provided to us by you for the reason specified at the point of collection and/or as set out in this privacy policy.

  • Your data will be stored securely using industry-wide best practice guidelines.

  • We provide our employees with training so that they can recognise the importance of limiting data collection, protecting personal data and reporting any data events as soon as they occur.

  • We commit to safely disposing data that we no longer need. This includes any personal data recorded during our meetings on hand written notes which will be disposed of securely once they are no longer required.

Transfers Abroad

We don’t routinely transfer personal data abroad but if we do we will limit our transfers to countries with whom the European Commission has determined have adequate data protection standards.

  • The right to ask what personal data that we hold about you.

  • The right to ask us to update and correct any out-of-date or incorrect personal data that we hold about you.

How long do we keep your data?
